Chen Wei, Chairman of Jing'an Heavy Industry, attended the symposium of entrepreneurs from the city's construction machinery industry cluster

On August 14th, our city held a symposium for entrepreneurs from the construction machinery industry cluster, to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech on Jiangsu's work. The meeting aimed to listen to everyone's opinions and suggestions on the development of the industry cluster, and to plan the layout of the industrial system during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. Song Lewei, the secretary of the municipal Party committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the symposium, 12 entrepreneurs, including Chen Wei, Chairman of Xuzhou Jing'an Heavy Industry Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a member enterprise of the Xuzhou Engineering Industry Cluster, made speeches based on their respective enterprises' production and operation situations.

Chen Wei reported on the situation of Jing'an Heavy Industry: Jing'an Heavy Industry specializes in the development of special pile driving machinery, with its main products including full-rotary drills, air-lift reverse circulation drills, chain-type diaphragm wall forming machines, CSM double-wheel deep mixing drills, and other underground construction equipment. The company is the first in China to overcome the core technology of full-rotary drills, has presided over the formulation of national standards, won the Silver Award for Chinese Invention Patents, and has been recognized as a "Little Giant" enterprise specializing in precision, specialty, uniqueness, and novelty, as well as a high-tech enterprise. The company launched the first pure electric TRD cutoff wall construction equipment in China, reducing energy consumption by 45%, achieving zero carbon emissions, and driving a doubling of orders in the water conservancy sector year-on-year. The product has passed the EU CE certification. By 2025, overseas operating income is expected to exceed 100 million yuan; 12 sets of equipment were invested in the Dongting Lake comprehensive management project at one time, setting an industry record. By 2025, the company aims to achieve a 40% increase in turnover compared to the previous year, and strives to be listed on the Beijing Stock Exchange within 3-5 years.

In his speech, Chen Wei proposed suggestions to promote industry development: In terms of government guidance and coordination, efforts should be made in planning guidance, strategic collaboration, policy linkage, and resource sharing, aiming to seek collaborative development of industrial clusters with a longer-term vision and a win-win perspective. In terms of talent cultivation, support should be given to engineering machinery enterprises in nurturing and introducing high-end professional talents, and convenient services in healthcare, education, housing, and other aspects should be provided. In terms of industrial internationalization, support should be given to engineering machinery enterprises in expanding overseas markets, with guidance and assistance provided in technical trade measures, market rules, foreign-related legal services, international marketing, and other aspects.

Song Lewei listened attentively to everyone's speeches and urged the relevant municipal departments to carefully sort out and study solutions. With stronger policy support, more precise service guarantees, and a more welcoming business environment, they should go all out to promote the high-quality development of enterprises and ensure their steady progress. Song Lewei emphasized that to build a world-class advanced manufacturing cluster, the government and enterprises must work together in the same direction. It is necessary to pay attention to the connection and coordination with national strategies such as high-end equipment manufacturing and green and low-carbon transformation, and formulate a high-level industrial development plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan period. He hoped that everyone would carry forward the entrepreneurial spirit, adhere to industry, deeply cultivate their main business, dare to venture and experiment, pursue excellence, be honest and trustworthy, operate in compliance, and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of the construction machinery industry cluster.
