Jing'an Heavy Industry's hybrid TRD 25E has been successfully applied in the Dongting Lake Water Conservancy Project

After winter, the seepage prevention wall project for the Dongting Lake embankment has entered a new chapter. A new product specially developed by Xuzhou Jing'an Heavy Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for dam reinforcement, the TRD25E hybrid chain cutter type underground diaphragm wall forming machine, was unveiled at the construction site.

TRD25E adopts an extended-range power supply method, overcoming the disadvantage of no grid power on site and enhancing the mobility of the equipment, making its use more convenient and efficient.

The TRD25E equipment is a new model successfully developed by Jing'an Heavy Industry, based on the company's mature equipment TRD70 and TRD45. The equipment innovatively adopts a direct drive method using a permanent magnet synchronous motor combined with a reducer, eliminating the need for a gearbox and significantly reducing the leakage risk of the power head. The construction equipment used for the reinforcement project of the Dongting Lake embankment forms a wall with a width of 550 millimeters and a depth of 27 meters, with an average advancement speed of 1.5 meters per hour. An extended-range power source is used on site, allowing the power vehicle to move simultaneously with the equipment, making construction more convenient.

Recently, leaders from Xuzhou Jing'an Heavy Industry, along with leaders from Hunan Water Conservancy and Hydropower Survey, Design, Planning and Research Institute and Hunan Chengji Construction Engineering Company, made a special trip to the Dongting Lake construction site to inspect and understand the equipment usage, and they spoke highly of the equipment.
